BillStock returns this June
Please join us on June 6th for the 4th installment of BillStock! BillStock is a family-friendly, all-day music festival and fundraiser. The event will feature over 50 musicians, most of whom are Sherwood alumni who performed in “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival.” Come out and support our cause, while enjoying some live music performed by local talent.
This year, we will be raising money for the Sherwood Community Chamber Choir, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The organization consists of five groups:
Sherwood Community Chamber Choir (adult choir)
Olney Community Youth Choir Cavatina (grades 4–5)
Olney Community Youth Choir Crescendo (grades 6–8)
Vocal Accord
The Sherwood Forest Singers
BillStock was created by Bill Evans, founder and artistic director of SCCC, in 2016 after he retired from Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD. At Sherwood, Bill taught choral music for 37 years and was the Producer and Musical Director for Sherwood High School’s original musical production, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival.” BillStock serves as both a reunion for cast members of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival” and a charity event for the Greater Olney community.
Tickets are $20 if purchased online and $30 at the gate. Online tickets will go on sale this Sunday, March 1st on Givebutter.
