BillStock returns to Laytonsville on June 6

Please join us on June 6th for the 4th installment of BillStock on Saturday, June 6th from noon until 9pm!

BillStock is a family-friendly, all-day music festival and fundraiser. The event will feature over 50 musicians, most of whom are Sherwood alumni who performed in “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival.” Come out and support our cause, while enjoying some live music performed by local talent.

This year’s BillStock will benefit the Sherwood Community Chamber Choir, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by Artistic Director Bill Evans.

Today, the organization consists of five groups:

At Sherwood, Bill taught choral music for 37 years and was the Producer and Musical Director for Sherwood High School’s original musical production, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival.” BillStock serves as both a reunion for cast members of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival” and a charity event for the Greater Olney community.

About the Choirs

The Sherwood Community Chamber Choir is an auditioned volunteer chorus whose goal is to enrich the community and its members through choral singing and concerts. In 2022, the organization expanded its reach by introducing two additional choirs. The Olney Community Youth Choir caters to children in 4th through 8th grade, nurturing their passion for singing and cultivating the next generation of vocalists.
